We headed to Mt. Airy Farm in Davidsonville this morning to pick some fresh, juicy strawberries with some of our neighborly friends. It was a glorious day--full of warmth and sunshine. We picked about 4 pints of the ripe fruit, and about five fistfuls of strawberry leaves (Ella loves grabbing anything she can get her hands on these days!). While the little one took a nap, I made a strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert tonight--yum!
