Just too pretty!

Ella went to a neighbor's Jump Bunch party on Sunday and had a blast playing with older kids.

For the love of (mom's) shoes...

Such a ham!

Ella's new found fun!

Tate at 5 weeks!

So long already!

Tate is not a fan of mommy's photo shoot!

Tate has grown a lot in five weeks! He is a perfect baby in our eyes. Tate loves to eat, sleep and especially poop and pee! He is smiling and loves to babble, taking after his older sister already!

Wheelbarrow Fun!

Helping Pap pick up sticks
Heading to the compost pile, carrying her wheelbarrow of course!

Grandma and Pap gave Ella a wheel barrow this past weekend and boy, is it a hit! She uses her wheelbarrow to help Daddy pick up weeds and sticks in the yard. Ella absolutely adores the tools too that came with it!

Happy Easter!

Ella had a great Easter! She received two Easter baskets--one from each set of grandparents and the Easter Bunny gave Ella a new stroller and a magnifying glass! We went to the Graf's for dinner and had an "eggcellent" time! Happy Easter!

Ella and her Bitty Baby stroller!

I see you!
Playing with Eloise before our delicious Easter dinner at the Graf's!

Meeting Tate for the first time at the hospital!
Ella is a wonderful big sister to Tate! "Aw baby!" is what she says every time to Tate! Ella is a big helper to Mommy and Daddy, too!

Welcome Tate Angelo Fontanazza

Our precious baby boy arrived on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 7:46 am weighing in at 7 pounds and 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long! Tate is a beautiful baby boy arriving a few days earlier than his due date. As with every baby story Tate's birth differed slightly from Ella's. I started contracting lightly at 8:30 pm, took a bath to relax and then at 10:30 BAM! the contractions started to intensify greatly to about 3 minutes apart--yup, it was time to call the doctor! Within an hour we packed our bags and made plans to head to the hospital. Rosemary, our fabulous neighbor, came and spent the night with Ella and Buddy. We made it to the hospital by midnight and shortly after I was admitted--we were well on our way to having Tate as I was already 5 cm dilated! Thinking that this labor was going to be quick, we started joking that Angelo would be home by the time Ella woke up at 6 am! It was obviously wishful thinking--my water broke at 6 cm and then at 7 cm I stalled for what seemed like hours. I opted for an epidural at 7 cm, and after a little investigation as to why I was stalling, it seemed my bag of waters didn't completely break blocking the baby from dropping into position--and I had a full bladder--some things I wish the nurse was more observant of before I got the epidural!! So after these "two little problems" were taken care of, I was more than ready to push--only the doctor was not ready for me to push. Apparently, Dr. Nichols needed a few more winks--can a labor that seemed soooo easy and fast at first, be drawn out anymore?? Frustrated and slightly irritated, I gave orders that I WAS READY TO PUSH!! So with a room full of nurses, a doctor and NICU nurses (there was meconium in my waters) Tate Angelo arrived healthy at 7:46 am! He scored an 8 at birth and then a 9 at 5 minutes on the apgar scale. Tate didn't have any meconium in his lungs and he was "singing" loudly after birth letting the world know of his birthday!
