Baby Yoga

Ella and I started taking baby yoga when she was just 8 weeks old. The first class we spent half of it nursing and the other half sleeping (well, Ella slept!). Even now, some classes are more relaxing than others. Needless to say, we've come far from the first class! And, Ella now spends most of the class time awake--giggling, stretching, reaching for other babies, "talking" to the class, rolling and her favorite past time, putting her feet in her mouth! She sure does love her yoga moves :)

Sleep Over

Maddie slept over last night. We took the girls to the Boatyard for dinner and then strolled around Eastport in the double stroller--Maddie loved the fact that Ella was sitting right next to her! She insisted on sleeping in Ella's room even though we warned her Ella may wake up a few times, but she didn't seem to care. Maddie must be a sound sleeper because Ella woke up about three times (and let's the whole world know she is awake) throughout the night and Maddie didn't flinch at all!

Our Trip to California

Ella and I flew out to spend a few days with our friends, Eleanor and her 10 month old, Tyler. We had a great time visiting Thousand Oaks, Malibu, Ventura and Santa Monica. We wish they lived closer, but if it means that we have to make a few trips west (and enjoy some CA sunshine, warmth, shopping, scenery...) to see them, then that's what we'll do!

Visit to NH

We all flew to NH this past weekend to celebrate my mom's retirement from Franklin Savings Bank. She worked there for 32 years--wow, what an accomplishment. It is always nice to go "home" and visit with family. Every time we make the trip, especially now since Ella is in the picture, I feel so lucky to still have my 88 year-old Nana in the picture. We always make a point to visit with her--she is still so spry!
