Ella's First Haircut!

Ella had her first hair cut this month at Pigtails and Crewcuts in Annapolis. It's a salon totally catered to kids! She got to decide which car she wanted to sit in and what type of small snack she wanted to eat, all while watching cartoons--what a place! Ella was so calm and serious the entire time, it didn't phase her one bit that a strange person (with sharp scissors nonetheless!!) was cutting her hair!

"Mommy Rocking Chair"

This chair was given to me by my grandfather, and I decided to pass it along to Ella (and Tate, if Ella's allows him to use it!) to rock in. Ella calls it "Mommy Rocking Chair". She eats her snack in the chair, she rocks her babies in the chair and she even tries to stand on the chair (which, of course is not allowed!). I think it's a given, she likes it :)

...with everything going on these days (recently moving into a new house, momma going back to work, the kiddos starting at their center) I've gotten behind on posts...sorry! So, here are some pictures of Tate's first swim in the ocean at Ogunquit Beach, Maine. He LOVED the beach much like his sister who cried everyday when it was time to leave...my beach babies!
